Lord, After All These Years, I’m Still in Awe—Ephesians 2:8-10

Today’s Scripture Reading: Acts 28:1-31, Ephesians 1:1-2:22

Heavenly Father, as I read Ephesians 2, it was like reading it for the first time. The whole chapter oozes with Your love but these verses grabbed my attention:

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.  Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. —Ephesians 2:8-10

Lord, You’re right, I can’t take credit for this gift. I don’t deserve it.

Father, Your loving kindness is like the most beautiful gift wrapping I’ve ever imagined.

He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding. —Ephesians 1:7-8

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, thank You for the gift of eternal life!

In Jesus Name. Amen and Amen!
