Lord, I Can Do Nothing On My Own—John 4:30

Today’s Scripture Reading: John 5:1-47, Mark 2:23-28, Matthew 12:1-8, Luke 6:1-5, Mark 3:1-6, Matthew 12:9-14, Luke 6:6-11, Matthew 12:15-21

Heavenly Father, it’s hard to fathom that Your son was fully man when He was on this earth. His dependence on You serves as an example of what our relationship with Your son should be.

I can do nothing on my own. I judge as God tells me. Therefore, my judgment is just, because I carry out the will of the one who sent me, not my own will. —John 5:30

Jesus, I can do nothing on my own but I can do everything through You who give me strength (Philippians 4:13).

Lord, strengthen me for the day that lies ahead!

In Jesus Name. Amen and Amen!
