Lord, I’m So Glad You Know Me Well—2 Kings 19:27

Today’s Scripture Reading: 2 Kings 19:1-19, Isaiah 37:1-20, 2 Chronicles 32:9-19, 2 Kings 19:20-37, Isaiah 37:21-38, 2 Chronicles 32:20-23

Heavenly Father, I sometimes forget that You Know Me through and through. You know where I live, when I come and go, when I’m happy or sad, and You know when I’m mad, frustrated, and angry.

“But I know you well—
where you stay
and when you come and go.
I know the way you have raged against me. —2 Kings 19:27

When life gets hard and I wonder if You see me—You Know.

Yes, in this verse You were speaking through Isaiah to King Hezekiah about King Sennacherib of Assyria but it’s true of every person who ever was or will be conceived. Lord, I can’t fathom it but I believe it–You Know me!

Jesus, I want to know You (Philippians 3:10). I know that as a human being I’m not capable of knowing You like You know me but I want to know You more than I do today.

Lord, come near to me. Let me see You through Your Word and through Your creation. Lord, speak to me.

In Jesus Name. Amen and Amen!

I love this, knowing God knows me better than I know myself keeps me humble. I can fool a lot of people, but God is NOT capable of being fooled by my outward appearance.

There is a part of me that reality scares me to death and another side full of thanks for keeping and holding me responsible for the “REAL ME”!

    GREAT POST
